Summer came and went. I hardly had time to plan to do anything. Although it still feels like summer here in Mesa. It will still be hot until October. So I still consider it to be summer. Our road trips consisted of El Paso and Snowflake to visit family. We enjoyed both trips. It was Quin's first experience of the Pioneer Days in good ole Snowflake. He wasn't sure what to think. But had fun going shooting and watching the rodeo. His favorite part would have to be when we went to the Youth Dance to check up on my siblings. We got to be chaperons for a while. You would of thought he was a kid in a candy shop the way he gave kids a hard time. I will admit it was pretty fun.
We have also been busy in our Ward. The Bishop asked us to learn dances for the Pioneer Trek and teach them to the youth in our ward. It has been a lot of fun. I finally got my husband to dance with me even if they are pioneer dances. :o) Other than school and work we haven't been up to much. I can't wait to be able to get a chance to take a little vacation and get away from the heat. I am looking forward to going camping with my family while Quin is on his BYU Football trip with the Boys! Camping always clears my mind! I can't wait to see those beautiful mountains and breath the fresh air!
Here are a few of the pictures we took.
Quin was so kind to let my mom shoot his gun!
They thought they were so cool...
Wow...it has been a HOT minute!
