My weekend alone

I had a great weekend with my sister in-law Margo. While our husbands were in Utah attending a funeral we were able to do what we wanted to do. Sleepover, good food, ice cream. I had fun we got both of our houses cleaned. Mine was way dirty...just ask Margo! ;) Thanks Margo for hanging out with me and keeping me entertained!

As for Quin being gone all weekend. Yes I did miss you honey. When you are away it makes me realize how much you do mean to me. You are my best friend and my lover! I am glad you were able to spend the weekend with your family but I am glad you are coming home. I am tired of not having someone to keep me warm when I get into bed. I miss someone listening to me and my silly stories. Please hurry home!

Spring is in the Air!

I love spring! I especially love all of the bright colors. I bought 5 new shirts for $20. I thought it was a great deal. Quin stated that they are just T-SHIRTS. I actually think they are fun vibrant colors. Besides that I got a great deal! He can't complain. My family came to visit this weekend. Well they came down to buy a new washer and dryer but it was a good excuse to see them. We had a fun time and some good laughs. I can't wait for my mom and my sister to come back down next weekend. Shopping, late nights, ice cream, music, chatting! It is a good thing Quin won't be around so we can have fun! So I can't wait to get through the week to enjoy the weekend once more!

Stiffin the balloon man!

Friday night when my husband finally decided to stop doing homework. We thought we should eat dinner about eight thirty and went to Texas Roadhouse. While we were waiting for our food the little old man who makes figures out of balloons came over to our table. Quin said "my wife here needs a flower she is cranky!" So he proceeded to make me a flower meanwhile I am kicking him under the table to let him know that I don't want one because you have to pay him and he of course didn't get it. So when the guy was done he stood there for a while and Quin was like..."oh do I need to pay you something for the balloon...the little old man replied well if you want to." We had no cash..I was so embarrassed. Needless to say when the man walked away I didn't let him live it down. He didn't let me down he gave an extra tip on our card for the balloon man. Hopefully he got his tip. Well the next morning when we were cleaning he decided to pop my balloon. Quite rude...so hopefully my husband has now learned that people just don't walk around handing out balloons for FREE!
